Greenhouses offer great possibilities in reducing the environmental impact of flower production. However, a greenhouse must therefore be adapted to the local conditions. The geographic latitude is important as well as the social and economic aspects, which have to be taken into consideration. Basically, the demand of the market is always the limiting factor.
