The environmental portrait is sometimes referred to as the location portrait. In the last issue, we talked about having a clean and clear headshot against a plain background. This time, we are bringing the full and wonderful environment in which we work into the image.
The environmental portrait is used to showcase what you do, where you do it and who is doing it. The viewer wants to be drawn into the picture to see the slice of life that you are presenting. It’s all about creating connection between your business and your clients. Most importantly, these portraits of people doing their job act as a marketing tool for your business and can be used by print media and for editorial use.
